Evangelist Arabella S. Harper is the First Lady of Kelly Lake Church of God in Christ where her husband of 40 years, Bishop Norman O. Harper serves as Pastor. She and her husband have co-labored in the Pastoral Ministry for more than 35 years. Sister Harper, as she is affectionately called by “The Lakers”, serves as the President of the Women’s’ Department, Sunday School Teacher, President of Sisters by Design, a prayer warrior and First Lady of South Central Georgia Jurisdiction. She also serves on the Beautification Committee of The Summits’ Sub-Division.

She worked several years as a Director of Senior Citizens Affairs in Dekalb County, before retiring to work full time in ministry. She is a professional floral designer and a lover of beautiful things.

Sister Harper has faithfully served in several positions within the Central Georgia Jurisdiction. She is a dynamic and anointed speaker.  She was awarded the opportunity to speak at our national convention as well as many others.  She has a strong passion for prayer and leads a community intercessory prayer group every Tuesday at Kelly Lake.  She has nurtured this group of five faithful prayer warriors to as many as 50 in attendance to pray for others and especially young people. Many miracles and answered prayers have been witnessed by those who attend and participate in this powerful time of prayer.

She is the very proud mother of two; Rodney (entrepreneur), Bridgett (educator) and one grandson, Deunte (college freshman) who she describes as the apple of her eye.  She is the seventh of 11 children born to the union of the late Deacon Willie and Evangelist Havanna Stanford.

Lady Harper sincerely loves the Lord with all her heart and welcomes opportunities to serve him in any way. She is the epitome of the virtuous woman and mentors many young women who seek to serve the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
